Question Toyota Production System - Decoding the DNA of the Toyota Production System

Has anyone read this article "Decoding the DNA of the Toyota Production System" by Spear and Bowen? Is it worth buying the reprint and/or the book (i think there is one). Thanks in advance for your comments.
