Suggestions and Wants: What would you like to see?
I'm looking at features some folks may want.
One hack I want is where users can see a summary list of all attachments to posts in a forum or something similar. I'll be working on getting a hack for this.
What suggestions do YOU have? What would YOU like to see?

I wonder if it wouldn't be nice with some space between the icons in the top right corner of each post? It looks a bit cluttered there. Not really a problem, just looks.

Clutter
I put the 'location' where I did as this all really sorta goes together - user name, title and where the user is from.
I think the table cell on the right side needs to be 'uncluttered', though. I'll be looking at that.

- I think I liked it better when the "karma" rating was kind of "foggy" with green dots and cute phrase rather than hard numbers.
- I never noticed the ICQ button on the previous incarnation. Do folks use it?
- I notice that the navigation bar at the top of the page is not uniform on every page. I liked it better when the navigation bar was the same.
- Thanks for making the default font Verdana - I think it is more easily readable than the cartoon font used as the previous default.
All in all, though, I like the look and speed of this version. I'm not sure how much speed is due to more efficient code and how much to new server, but the result is good.

1. I decided on a hard number - That's the 'data' part of me.
2. The ICQ, Yahoo, etc. buttons were at the bottom of posts. I have no idea whether people use them - I assume some do from time to time. I have used ICQ in the past but haven't personally opened the program in a long time other than the other night trying to get Atul.
3. Where are the navbars not consistent? I'm going to assume you mean such as the forum view vs. the thread view, as a example. Different views have different options. The nav bar of the forum view has to be somewhat different because there are different functions.
4. I like Comic Sans myself, but plan to have a style for each so it will be a matter of your chosing the style you like. I've never really done much with alturnative styles before, but plan to.

Marc:
This looks great!
I can't seem to find a button for "posts since last visit". It used to look like a gift box with a ribbon.
Thanks for your hard work. You must have been very busy last weekend.

You too? Join the club, Craig... I couldn't find it either, in spite of the fact that it's smack in the middle of the screen : It's now called New Posts.
