Why '105' and '414' in the military sampling plan standards (Mil-Std-)?

This is a doubt (educational). I would like to know which is the reason for naming to the old atributtes and variables series military standards as '105' and '414'.......?????

I don't think there was a reason, just the available next number to be assigned to a standard.
