I like to know when was FIRST TIME Visteon issued their TS Customer Specific requirements. I see a document on their websitte dated Dec 17, 2003. Is this the first issue or revised document?
Thanks for letting me know about the Visteon requirements. We just went through our TS16949 certification audit and it was agreed with our auditor that there were no Visteon CSR`s. We got a letter from our Visteon engineer stating that the only requirement from Visteon was to be certified to TS2. This satisfied our auditor. I have not had a chance to go over them. Is there anything complicated. I hope its not similar to Fords CSR`s.
To be honest, I just checked the Visteon website this morning and I still have to read the requirements (20 pages).
We were audited back in Oct 2003 and we stated that there is no Visteon CSR but today I saw on their website and hence, i was not sure if these were available before or they are new.
QUALITY 1
Thanks for the info on Visteon's new CSRs. Gave them a quick review, sure looks like Ford's. Go figure. Whoever said "more is less" has not been supplying automotive products.

Whoa............
I'm sure this will ruffle a few feathers!
I am trying to fugure out exactly what this means form Visteon...accreidation by RAB, AIAG or who. Does this mean including the core tools, APQP,PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC the same as Ford. They kind of left this open to intrepretation, or vague. Trying to figure exactly what course to take.
Anybody have an input?
