Question PEDYN Change Mangement Software

Our company is currently evaluating PEDYN (Professional Engineering DYNamics) for an inexpensive solution for implementing or change managment program. We are a small company and cannot affort the $20,000+ programs that many larger companies use.

This one seems simple enough to use, and being an MS Access database, it allows us the flexability of modifying it as our needs grow - at least until we outgrow the software.

I am writing this to see if any other companies in this forum have used this software, and if so, what your impressions of it are.

Thanks,

Gary Sommer

Gary,

Having looked at PEDYN's web site I am also looking to evaluate their product, unfortunately I have had no response from them whilst requesting a demo (mid April '04) . Could you tell me when you last had contact from them? Are they still operating?

Also, Have you completed your evaluation of their product? Anyone else used it or assessed it?

Emailed for a Demo this AM

I registered for their product yesterday, and received a response within 24 hrs. I was just asked the nature of my business. I would assume that PEDYN is still operating a business due to the receipt of an email.
Yes, the product sounds like something I would really like to try out.

Best Regards.

Thanks for the info '3ddds'. Good to know that they are still operating. I emailed yesterday and again today - maybe I'll "get lucky" this time!

Cheers.

As a follow up;
I have had extensive contact with PEDYN and am evaluating their P2000 Engineering Data Management product. The Multi-Tier version with various addons appears to be what we are looking for as a startup manufacturing operations business. I believe my client is also looking at MFG Pro for another part of the business at a different site however the cheaper and more flexible P2000 appears to be the best option for my immediate team.

Graebags

PS: Anyone else using P2000?
