Please Help! CMM Uncertainty Level analysis - Seeking EXCEL .xls template or worksheet

Hello
I have to perform the Uncertainty Level analysis for all our CMM’s. I just wander if any of you have an EXCEL template or worksheet with all the calculation and willing to share it. I have never done it so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

John

Excel is a good program, but is somewhat limited and requires that you enter your formulas and so forth.

I usually recommend using Uncertainty Calculator 3.2, downloadable at no cost from Agilent. Good program and one of the easier to use MU programs.

Hope this helps.

We went through CMM uncertainty a few years ago. Here is a link. There are standards for this.

We gave up and got the data from the CMM builder (Mitutoyo). They had experts on the topic, and have papers and information for days on the topic.

Good luck with it.
