Quantitative data, where measurements are used for analysis. Examples include the diameter of a of a bearing journal in millimeters, the closing effect of a door in kilograms, the concentration of electrolyte in % or the torque of a fastener in Newton-m

X-Bar and R, X-Bar and s, median and individuals control charts are used for variables data.
