Calibration Label issues

Hello everyone,
If the equipment is calibrated but has a label with a different expiration date than the certificate, how would you treat this if you were auditing it?

The calibration due date on a calibration certificate from an outside lab is a "suggestion". Reputable labs often do not provide a date unless you provide them with the interval that meets your requirements / risks. Whatever date that you choose to enter into your internal calibration record is the official due date, that is the one that should match whatever label is on the device.

I often strike through and initial the lab's "due date" and write our company's due date on the certificate and the calibration label.
