Bias and linearity should been done on all measurement devices as part of your calibration program.
Stability studies should be identified by performing a risk assessment to determine whether there is a risk of the device being impacted by environmental conditions or by warmup (e.g., uncontrolled environment, measuring tight tolerances of a product with a high coefficient of thermal expansion).
R&R studies are typically required for any device on your control plan (e.g., used for inspection or process control).

Echoing a bit of Miner's fine post, IF, your filed of endeavor is automotive/mobility, I would suggest that (if not already done so), you approach this by referencing and using the AIAG (or similar), Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) with Applications found at Search Results Yep, it is lengthy and not perfect but I have found it to be of great utility... hope this helps.
