JOB DESCRIPTION Effective Date: TITLE: PRESIDENT SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS: The President is responsible for the overall direction and administration of all company operations, programs and services. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. To develop and maintain a positive company image and positive relations between the company and key customers, vendors, and regulators. 2. To develop in conjunction with the managers of the company, plans for the growth and development of the company and the expansion or improvement of company facilities. 3. Monitors and develops the annual budget for approval by the Board of Directors. 4. Ensures that company operations comply with all applicable laws and regulations. 5. Develops, monitors, approves and implements policies and procedures appropriate to the operations of the company. 6. Serves as the final authority for employee relations and personnel matters; has ultimate authority for all hire/fire decisions, compensation and disciplinary actions. 7. Handles negotiations with outside parties on behalf of the company. 8. Oversees all operation areas of the company through supervision of all vice-presidents, directors and managers. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: Directly accountable to the board of directors for effectively performing all responsibilities. Provides reports on all aspects of company performance as requested by the board. Serves as the chairperson of policy and management teams. Directly supervises the Vice-Presidents of the company.
