To anybody,

I have some things I would like to put on this site and would like some input from the other members as to how we transfer payments and goods?

Are we setting up a fourum that could lead to difficuties down the road?

If you're talking "quality flea market", I think this would be detrimental to this site. I thought we were here to ask questions and help and support our peers?

If you're talking about that old bike in the shed, I'll give you 10 bucks - you pay the freight!

The forum was started at the suggestion of a user. I think the original intent was for things like quality exam prep or quality related books, equipment or the like.

That said, I don't want any involvement in how people pay each other. I know there are services like PayPal (now under an investigation brought on by a law suit) who will work with you. I'm not going to recommend anything because I don't want someone getting pissed because I (for example) recommend PayPal and the person gets screwed by PayPal so I'm at fault for recommending. I've never been involved in the auction thing so I don't have any experience with those kinds of pay systems.

As far as what people want to sell.... I personally don't care. I understand

But since we have a few joke threads, we had a political thread, and - let's face it there's room to 'take you shoes off' here (I can picture Al Bundy sitting on the sofa with his hand down his pants). You want to sell your bike here? It's OK by me. But I suspect that the people visiting here will be mostly interested in quality related stuff. The auction sites will get the flea market stuff I expect. In fact, I thought auction sites were 'the thing' and where folks would go to sell stuff anyway.
