Subj: TYH: NC Labor Dept.

The North Carolina Department of Labor has become the first state government agency in USA registered to ISO 9001 (as far as we can tell). The department was approved for registration by American Systems Registrar on May 14, 1999. Our scope includes four divisions of the agency and we will be expanding scope to add other divisions in coming months.

Thanks to all of you who have provided insight, advice, wisdom, and
challenges through this list.
