Our client is seeking a talented and energetic Senior Software Quality Management professional to help guide the evolution and implementation of System Development Life Cycle standard processes and project metrics. This person will be interfacing with test and development groups. Ideal candidate will have a software engineering background and 9 to 12 years of mixed experience in software development, project management, quality engineering, process definition and SDLC creation. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Review SOPs for improvement based on industry trends, emerging standards,
regulatory requirements, and technology changes. Recommend changes to the
Quality Management Committee.
- Work with software development teams to assess impact and effectiveness of
SOPs.
- Work with Quality Management Committee to develop, implement, and track
project metrics.
- Update SOP documentation and web site to reflect current processes.
- Deliver training on updated procedures.
- Organize and facilitate special working teams to resolve new process
definition. Significant software quality engineering experience across a wide variety of technologies in a regulated environment required. Bachelors degree in
software engineering or quality management required. An advanced degree and
industry certification (QAI, CQA, ASQ, CSQE) desired.
