Our client in Richmond VA is seeking a strong Manual White Box Tester. In this role you will be responsible for manual white box testing for a wide range of internal business and external vendor applications. Working from sample files and documentation, inflow and outflow documents, and user requirement documents, the individual will be responsible for writing test plans and scripts and executing testing, validating and documenting results for backend systems, and databases and tables in a Unix, SQL and Oracle environment. Must have testing related experience in file uploads and conversions and launching complicated database scripts. Must have practical exerience and understanding of Unix Shell, Korn Shell, Borne Shell, SQL Load, and a variety of database Triggers. These are extemely large complex databases with many of the DB tables "touching" as many as 25+ databases. The individual must have background in large financial, diversified finance or insurance related systems.
