The Leader’s Handbook by Peter Scholtes This book ranks in the top 5 books that I have read. It is an excellent source for learning about Leadership and Management concepts, and is the type of book you might want to buy an extra copy of just to keep at the office. Mr. Scholtes does an excellent job of presenting concepts and methods to the reader about Systems Thinking (including the SIPOC model), methods for documenting and standardizing processes, as well as presenting alternatives to the annual Performance Appraisal ritual. This book is directed at Senior and Middle Managers, but anyone interested in Quality System management will likely find this book a valued resource. IP: Logged |
