Hi Mark, I am a regular visitor to the forum. It has many good features, and my words can not describe its benefit to the community. As a daily browsing activity, I can scan all the todays features on a single click. Would you mind providing an additional feature in the screen so as to get on a sinlge click, "all posted last 1/2/3 days",specially for those like me, who miss a day or two,in front of a desktop for some reason. Thanks, Ak IP: Logged |

I looked briefly at the scripts which make up the forums (it's a series of Perl scripts) over the holidays. I may take another look but I'm not optimistic. You can click on the SEARCH link when you log on and ask for all messages in the last 1 day or 5 days, I believe, and by not imputting any words to look for you'll get all the posts in that time frame. I agree it would be nice to have more options. Problem is there are about 10 scripts which each interact at different times. I'm not really a perl programmer. I understand the basics but I do not understand what every line does. To be honest, when I log onto the site I log on the main page. I scroll down the main list of forums and look at the dates in the Last Posts column. That, with the light bulbs, keys me into which forums have new posts. Looking is faster than the search thing for me. Also see http://Elsmar.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/000047.html I'll take another look but I'm not promising anything. IP: Logged |

By the way, if any of you are perl experts I'll be happy to make the scripts available for you if you want to take a shot at it. IP: Logged |
