Google is just one of many 'outlets' like Supernews. I get the NG through my ISP. I think of them as newsgroups (NGs), not as 'forums'. But that's semantics. I know there are many ways to post, such as thru Deja (or you used to be able to). I use Outlook Express Macintosh and it has a built-in newsgroup reader.
