 ZeroRejects is an Easy To Use SPC program, (Statistical Process Control), that will calculate sigma, (Standard Deviation) from 3 to 6 units in .5 unit steps. In other words, 6 Sigma. It allows for user definable design margin settings. It works with Windows95/98/NT.Concepts for the software from ... This software is designed to monitor a given process and evaluate the process's capability by using the capability indexes of Cp and Cpk. Cpk is a measurement of how close the mean is to the lesser of the Upper Specification Limit, or Lower Specification Limit. Cp is a measurement of how close the mean is to the actual Nominal, (or design/specification Mean) of the specification. It was designed for simplicity and ease of use. You do not need a degree in statistics to understand this software. Just the basics. The program will tell you if you are within the selected design margin and if not, how far you need to move the mean and which way to achieve your goals. The program has some unique feature designed by me based on my experience in going to minority suppliers and small businesses and actually collecting data and implementing Six Sigma when employed at Motorola. I have been in the proverbial trenches and know what does and doesn't work.
