The company I now work for has used a program called MPACT for QA9000 reporting. From what I can tell it generates Process Flow Charts, Control Plans and FMEA's. However, the software is not Y2K compliant. I was wondering who else has software (perhaps better stuff) for keeping all this documentation straight.

Forgive me, I am a new QS9000 user. I come from the absorbent products industry.

Thanks,

I would think that the company that designed this software would help you with Y2K problems. Are they no longer in business? If not, there are several companies that sell this kind of software and, for what you doing with the software now, can serve your needs quite well. Check out Quality magazine, Quality Digest, or Quality Progress for those companies.

Dear Roger,

Thank you for the input. The company that developed the software has a plan for Y2K compliance, however, their team was just formed and they have not even started on the project. In other words, no warm fuzzies about compliance. I will check the periodicals you recommended.

Again, I appreciate the response.
