Hello there,

I was assigned to lead the ISO14001 certification for my company in the electronic industry.

We had undergo the formal certification audit and our auditor came up with some remarks
on integrating environmental considerations into current and future design.

We are using common practices and utilizing "green" materials as much as we are familiar with.

I want to establish company procedure of reviewing environmental issues in the design process (Design reviews etc.)

I wonder if anyone could point me to data source regarding information on materials, components, and processes that are
"allowed" or "accepted" in the electronic industry such as batteries, capacitors, paintings, coatings and so on.

On the other hand, if there is information on prohibited materials and processes could anyone point me to these sources?

I will appreciate any help

I'm not a 14001 expert and don't know any sites. As I understand it, however, this has as much to do with recycling as it does for choosing components and materials.

Maybe one of the others has some suggestions.
