Good evening,

Near the start of CFR 820, in Subpart A, 820.1 Scope, (c) Authority... , it says,

"Part 820 is established and issued under authority of sections 501, 502, 510, 513, 514, 515, 518, 519, 520, 522, 701, 704, 801, 803 of the act (21 U.S.C. 351, 352, 360, 360c, 360d, 360e, 360h, 360i, 360j, 360l, 371, 374, 381, 383)."

Can anyone tell me what these are, or where to find the details please?

Thanks.

re: 21 CFR Part 820 - Question about "Authority"

USC is the Unites States Code - Code of Laws of the United States of America.
Title 21 are the are the laws that provide authority to the FDA over food, drugs & devices, and cosmetics.

The whole of the USC are the federal laws of the land.
