My auditor told us for the next audit that we needed to create a Doc and Data Control Table, but I did not find anything in the AS9100 C standard or in a google search. Can anyone help out with this or at least point me in the right direction?

The best advice, imho, is to ask the auditor him/herself to identify the source for the requirement. When you do that, s/he will think twice before springing unsupported requirements onto unsuspecting auditees.

You didn't find anything because there isn't a requirement for this.

^ I agree with this. The auditor should be an auditor, not a consultant.

Looks like the auditor wants you do to some homework to make his job easier for him.

"Show me the shall" comes to mind.

It is possible that your auditor felt that your QMS was weak in section 4.2.3
The use of a table can help with c), f), and g)

It is also possible that the auditor was aiming at the requirement contained in Rev. B of the Standard which read
- when referencing the documented procedures, the relationship between the requirements of this International Standard and the documented procedures shall be clearly shown.
That requirement has been deleted in Rev. C of AS9100. But when an auditor tells the auditees
you NEED to create a table...
s/he is deviating from the role of an auditor.

it seems the auditor is asking for a Master Document list I would ask the auditor to show me in the standard what he/she is refering to so I can research further.
