The upcoming revision to the AS9100 Standard, AS9100 Revision D has been (apparently) balloted successfully in the 3 sectors of the IAQG (Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific) and should be released around the Fall 2016. In Europe, the document, in addition to being released as EN9100, is also translated in different languages.

9100:2016 Series Aerospace Quality Management System Transition Timeline
The International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) has agreed to align transition to the forthcoming revised 9100:2016 series standards with the International Accreditation Forum's (IAF) Resolution 2013-15, which requires transition to the ISO9001:2015 quality management system (QMS) standard no later than 15 September 2018.
In order to meet the above timeline, the IAQG is revising the 9100 series of QMS standards (e.g., 9100, 9110, 9120) to incorporate the new ISO structure and revised requirements. The revised IAQG AQMS standards are targeted for publication in April 2016.
The IAQG Other Party Management Team (OPMT) has drafted an aggressive plan for transition and it will be communicated to all stakeholders via supplemental rule SR-003. The OPMT will release supplemental rule SR-003 to all stakeholders upon publication of the revised 9100:2016 series standards and after coordination with AB and CB community for feedback.
In the interim, we encourage all stakeholders to obtain the latest information on the development of the 9100 series standards at the 9100 revision preview website.
