AS9100D Cert question - Small machine shop - Where can I buy a certificate?

Hello Everyone,

We are a small machine shop (2 people) and looking to get an easy AS9100D cert. Wondering if there are any recommendation for how we can purchase this online or acquire from oversea. We only need the certificate document.

Sadly you won't get anywhere with it! You have to actually have a QMS.

Thanks for the funny reply. We do have a QMS and are compliant to AS9100C, we are in the process of rev'ing up to revision D. Just need a bridge until we can dot the i's and cross the t's for Rev. D!

I am thinking our "trade" friends overseas will have an interim solution.

Do you mean you are late in getting your upgrade audit before the September deadline? If so, you'll have to start over. Getting something to "bridge" will do more damage to you than you realize...

What you are asking for is analogous to a situation where your drivers license expired and you are too busy to go the DMV to renew it. So, you are basically asking where you can buy a fake drivers license until you find the time to regularize the proper document.

Don't you see what you are asking for as unethical, improper?
