They actually kept to the delivery dateSMMT gives Timetable for 3rd edition of rules

Although the IATF said it was to be released on October 1st, the AIAG website still lists it as unavailable, and shows an expected date of "mid October" for it to be available. I also contacted a CB I audit for, and they told me it would be unavailable until the roll-out in mid October. So... what's the point of publishing a release date if it's not actually available on that date?

The SMMT site states the new rules will be available 10 October at a price of £20 (up from £15).

To create high levels of "excitement" and anticipation....

The AIAG site states: "AIAG is anticipating the TS Rules 3rd Edition mid October; no pre orders can be accepted."

The IATF site states: "The purpose of this communiqué is to advise all IATF certification bodies of the release of the Rules for Achieving IATF Recognition 3rd Edition for ISO/TS16949:2002 on 1st October 2008 in English."

You'd expect that there's at least some communication....

When I attended the ISO/TS 16949:2002 auditor training, we got our specific questions about the "Rules" answered fairly quickly...
