Lightbulb Risk Based Thinking and acts of God/Mother Nature

I don't make it a habit of posting links to my own blog, but made an exception in this case in an effort to help put useful information out there.

Re: Risk Based Thinking and acts of God/Mother Nature

Good that you are safe. Good read. Thank you for the link.

Reminds me of the 2011 floods in Thailand which "smartened up" a lot of electronics companies in preparing for natural disasters: Thailand floods to lead to hard drive shortages for months | ZDNet

Not to mention, Thailand is in the midst of ambitious plans to address global warming and their issues of sea level rise as well as increased intensity of rains. I have some friends who have built retirement homes there - All built up HIGH...

As a last thought, I have been following Mangkhut - Monster storm Mangkhut leaves trail of death, destruction and massive bill | Asia Times - Makes Florence look relatively tame.
Thanks to Marc for your informative Post and/or Attachment!
