Is anybody happy with their Notified Body?

We are looking at the possibility of changing our notified body, but we're not sure where we should begin. Our current NB is so incredibly slow in their response time that we have had product caught up in Italian customs for several months now, waiting for an updated CE certificate (that I was told would take 2 weeks). Oh- but we do get our regular sales pitches to spend even more money on software we don't need. But I digress.....

I do recognize that all NBs are swamped right now, but can anybody give feedback that their NB has a decent response time and is easy to reach?

Thanks

So, your organization is suffering monetary losses for their lack of responsiveness. I don't know where are you located at, in the World, but in the USA, a lawsuit threat for their inability to provide you with a timely service would get their top management attention.

I understand that nobody would want to have an adversarial relationship with their NB, but a NB that is unresponsive, incompetent, unprofessional, etc. does not deserve anyone's business.

I am sure they have a quality policy and a commitment to satisfy their customers, don't they? keep them accountable to it.

I have also experienced issues with customer service and response times from an NB.
It does not seem to matter who you speak to, the notion of customer service and satisfaction is lacking.
Is there any place that can a client turn to to get quicker action?
