Definition ECS - Product Labels have "ECS" in the prefix

Help.

I am in process of creating a nomenclature/identifier for a new product label and have almost zero legacy information on how my employer created these numbers in the first place. The labels that are currently in circulation have "ECS" in the prefix and then accompanying identification after that. The people who generated this are no longer with the company and I am unsure who to talk to.

Is there anything specific for the ECS or what it means?
