my name is kiran karthik , am studying BE final year , and am doing a project based on designing gauges .
so please help me

i have to design a gauge to check the AXIS OF SNORKEL OF AXLES .,.

i really dont have any idea about it .,.,

i request to help me in this one ( please )

For the benefit of those here (me, for instance) who are unaware that axles have snorkels, could you explain?

You're asking for help in theoretically designing a gage for a characteristic that you can't explain or identify. You're now asking about a "drills axis." Are you sure you can't be more specific about what you're trying to do?

actually i hv design a gauge for snorkel in axle which checks whether d axis of d snorkel is with in the tolerance or not with respect to the bearing axis and with respect to the boring axis at the center ...
