Employee Training Database wanted

My Plant is trying to simplify some process related to Quality Systems and Training. I have found many excellent database programs on Elsmar.

Anyone have a database (mdb) to organize Employee Training?

Our current system is so old and poor that people almost refuse to use it on the floor.

:thanx:

Re: Employee Training Database

Here's a database that I've developed over a period of years. It addresses not only the competence of employees, but responsibilities and authorities as well.

It's currently formatted for Access 2003.

Re: Employee Training Database

Looks Very Well Done! I will get with the others next week to see how we can fit it with our situation (which is very fragmented).
May take me some time to figure out how to work with it but seems to address all the areas we currently have.

Had to convert it to 2000 since all of our terminals run that version of Access. I dont think it will cause any issue with performance will it?

Thanks again...

Here's a copy of some basic instructions on how to use the database, including screen shots. I would have attached it before, but I had to remember how to remove the password on the file to take out company information. It should make the learning process easier.

Running in Access 2000 should be fine. It may actually run better because a lot of the VBcode was written in that version.

:topic:But it fits with employees, work TPM, databases and quality systems.

I REALLY would prefer to move to an access database for our Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) log books on the floor. Old Fashioned is OK sometimes but we are getting log books everywhere.

Anyone??

Thanks again for the Employee Database!!:applause:

Hi Howtse,

Thank you so much for posting the database up. It is great tool to look at. I was wondering how you would go to the main menu and change the table for the job title.

Thanks,

I'm not sure what you're asking. Could you be more specific?
