Starting down the 14001 path - Ways to implement 14001 at my organization

Just passed my ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Class - now looking at ways to implement 14001 at my organization. Any comments, suggestions, files, encouragement, or work you all would want to do for me would be appreciated.... :biglaugh:

Actually I have done some searches looking for examples of some aspects matrix files that I can use (not much luck). Not the actual aspects, but the format of a good excel file or something similar - sort of a starting point for me. Also any advise on integrating with TS2 would be appreciated as well. Thanks in advance... :agree1:

As a quality guy this 14001 stuff is really new to me. The lead auditor class was a good starting point but there is definitely more to this than I thought. However I do not think it will be very hard for my company.

DISCLAIMER: Do not be surprised if I drive some of you 14001 gurus crazy over the next few months... :bonk:

Tom,

As a quality guy I am sure you will recognize this format. We use a FMEA approach to our aspects. I am also attaching the ranking we use. Each aspect is rated according to occurence (frequency), severity and detection. These values are multiplied to give the RPN. If it's over 100 we classify it as significant. This value that defines significance has decreased over time since we now have a lot less significant aspects then when we started.

Hope this helps. Also i would love feedback if anyone has any!
