Hi, I am looking for a little insight on an issue that has come up at the FAA Repair Station where I work.
We are an FAA Repair station and we have come across some PMA parts on the APU's we repair that are worn or damaged but perfectly repairable.
The issue we have in when we wrote our DER repairs we only listed the OEM part numbers.
Is there anything (regulation) know of that would allow us to do our DER repair on a PMA part? If there is does to be a PMA developed Test and Computation or by licensing agreement or something else.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
James
