Look! Re: When will Revision 5 of the AIAG FMEA Manual be released?

AIAG has scheduled a 2017 Quality Summit in mid-September. One of the topics will be the newly released FMEA-5, so that appears to confirm your info.
Thanks to Miner for your informative Post and/or Attachment!

Has anyone heard what to expect? I feel like there was an e-mail once, but I'm not finding it on AIAG site.

AIAG wants you to sign up for their Quality Summit in Novi, MI.
I'll be there to get the latest and greatest FMEA info.

Re: When will Revision 5 of the AIAG FMEA Manual be released?

Currently power is on German side and Americans has to follow.
But it seems they hold handbrake lever in their hands.

I do not know if it is related, but VDA offers training related to 2016 FMEA manual for D- and PFMEA. I have not seen this manual among offered by VDA publications.

Currently two seminars were cancelled for unknown reasons.

Hello,

As I understood in several comments the "Detection" would be eliminated.
Thus forcing organisation to look into process improvements instead of "adding an inspection".

Anyone ?
Thanks to antoine.dias for your informative Post and/or Attachment!

Of course. On paper anything can be done with a process improvement.
