Hello,
I'm looking for d2* table with parameter m (soubgroup size) > 20 (at least 25) or I need to know algorithm for compute this.

Can anybody help me?

attached is a table for control chart factors that includes d2 up to a sample size of n=25.

but really if your sample size is greater than 5 you should use the standard deviation and not the range. (UNLESS you are actually hand calculating the range of your subgroups and have no access to a statistical calculatro or computer)

this table comes from Quality Control and Industrial Statistics, 5th edition (June 30, 1986) by Acheson J.Duncan

thanks for attached table to Bev D.
In this table is parameter d2 present. d2 is special value of d2* - parameter "k" (samples) is infinity.
I need to know d2* factor for any samples count.

I have attached a d*2/d2 table (same reference as before)
it only goes to n=15 and k=15

but your request begs the question - why do you think you need these values? d2 factors and the use of sample range is NOT appropriate for large sample sizes (n) OR number of samples (k). there is a reason that tables for larger values don't exist. if you let us know what you are trying to do we can help you do it easier and quicker...

I have developing software for calculating MSA, VDA and others. I have to calculate BOSH Method 3 with this parameters: 1 operator, 2 measuring, 25 samples.
I need to determine constant K3 ... = 1/d2* for g=1, m=25

This time my application is limited to 20 operators, so I would like to shift the limit to 25 (at least)

I have found values for K3 constant. It is sufficient for me. Thanks for your support.

samples K3
25 0.2504
24 0.2525
23 0.2548
22 0.2573
21 0.2599
20 0.2628

The calculation of d2 is quite complex and therefore our ancestors created a table of d2 values for various sample sizes. Your spreadsheet references the formula for k1 and refers you to the d2 table that is actually attached in my previous post above...
