Gage R&R >10% - Decrease Machine Limits?

Hi and hello,
New to this forum I just found looking for Gage R&R related topics.
I just made GRR on vision system which detects some features on the part and result is 16%. Before I will make any improvements I wanted to tighten the pass/fail limits to play safe producing parts.

Is there any rule telling me how to change limits depending on GRR result?

In my MSA blog, I have a discussion on Wheeler's Honest Gauge Study. In that discussion is a link to an article entitled "How to establish manufacturing specifications" that covers this topic. There is also an attached spreadsheet that calculates these limits.
