As stated in another thread, we are starting to flow back PPAP requirements to our suppliers, as we prepare for TS registration audits.
We make punched parts that go into electrical assemblies. Our automotive customers usually ask us for a level 3 PPAP.
Our process is mainly chemical. First we mix up some polymers and some other goodies, coat it, cure it, add adhesive, and then punch out the parts. A good majority of our raws come in 55gal drums and are catalog chemicals. Does this qualify these raws as BULK material, and we should be getting level 1 PPAP from them?
Any help would be apprciated.
