IATF 16949 MSA Studies for CMM machines

Hello Gentlemen/Ladies.
I have some question about MSA (G R&R) studies for CMM Machines.
So, we have 5 types CMM machines in our company and on each machine we are measuring this same parts on different JIGS/Fixtures.
Should we prepare for each machine and for each part MSA, or we can prepare only 1 MSA on 1 machine and it will be enough for the audit?
Thanks in advance for solutions.

It's not about passing "the audit."

How much confidence do you have in your CMM-based measurement system?

Are the CMM's all the same? Same software? Same operator?

Hello
We have 2 machines with Tactile Sensor, and 3 with Optical Sensor.
Different software, different operators.

But I mean let say, we have 5 machines -> 100 products -> 100 fixtures where we are align parts -> should we prepare for each combination MSA studies?

Also the question is -> IF we have 1 part -> 2 fixtures -> 5 machines -> Should we prepare 10 MSA ?

I would definitely perform separate studies for the tactile/optical sensor CMMs.

However, if you have access to Minitab, I would recommend performing an Expanded R&R study. With the expanded study, you can include the different sensors and fixtures into a single study.
