Does anyone have, or can direct me to an MAQMSR (Minimum Automotive Quality Management System Requirements for Sub-Tier Suppliers) checklist? I have the standard but am trying to not recreate a checklist if possible.

Marc,
Thank you for the quick reply.
One question......the checklist you linked is dated 2014. With the MAQSR 2nd edition being published in 2017, is there a more current revision or does the 2014 version still apply?

I don't know, off hand. Essentially I did a Duck search in an attempt to help you. Being retired I don't really keep up, but I did double check. The IATF has put out this document: https://www.iatfglobaloversight.org...equirements-for-Sub-tier-suppliers-2nd-Ed.pdf - I can't upload it here because it's copyrighted.

I would bet, from my search, that the companies charging for a checklist *may* be selling an outdated version. I say this because a search I did narrowed to 2nd edition had no "We Sell These Canned Procedures and Forms" results.

Google has gotten too weird for me, so to restate I used the Duck for my searches.

This may also help you, but it's not a checklist: http://www.elginind.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/Elgin-GLOBAL-SUPPLIER-MANUAL.pdf

The basics are here: https://www.iatfglobaloversight.org...ent-System-Requirements-for-Sub-tier-s....pdf

Also read: IATF Minimum Automotive Quality Management System Requirements for Sub-Tier Suppliers

I see there a lot of companies are selling a checklist. If anyone here has made one themselves, sharing it here will be appreciated!

Hi Marc
One of your 2 attachments is a document called MINIMUM AUTOMOTIVE QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR SUB-TIER SUPPLIERS and it reads at the bottom "Reference to Chrysler Group LLC and Ford Motor Company ISO/TS 16949 customer-specific requirements August 2014".

Where is this document originated from? Who were the authors? Where was it published?
Is it the previous version of the MAQMSR Second Edition, September, 2017 currently available on the IATF website https://www.iatfglobaloversight.org...ements-for-Sub-tier-suppliers-2ndEd-rev2.pdf?

Thanks, Nora

Thanks Marc. I also believe it started as a "local" automotive manufacturers initiative that they ended up "pushing" to the AIAG, as a controlled publication with strong ties to the IATF 16949 standard, basically ALL suppliers of the automotive supply chain will need now to meet 80% of the clauses of IATF 16949, regardless of their Tier position or even product application, it seems, correct?
