Financial Fraud Investigation plan/template

Hi,

I'm currently involved investigating some claims made by an ex-employees of our Code of Conduct hence we need to investigate some areas.

Does anyone out there have a template that I can use eg. Expenses claim fraud - plan (listing action to take in investigation)....then finding etc...

Anything relating to investigation and the steps and questions/guidelines would help.

Audit in this Forum relates to Quality Management Systems/Manufacturing but some of our Covers may be able to give you some pointers.

For a start, your Country's financial reporting standards should be a place to check. Association of Internal Auditors (finance) is another place.

This is definitely something you should contact a financial auditor/accountant about. You might be getting into legal issues that this forum doesn't typically deal with.

They are performed by experts, not just any CPA.
