What are the points to be discussed in a Management Review Meeting (MRM)

In MRM, what are the points to be discussed? Only that points where NCR/CAR or good results also. If both discussed or good results declared, that will encourage others to improve. Should MR conducted the MRM or MD can?

If your management (top management) calls for a meeting to review anything about the QMS, then they are required to review the aspects as in 5.6.2 of the ISo9001 and take decisions and actions as in 5.6.3 of the ISo9001. Apart from these they can review any other thing the top management feels fit. Top management must first set up a MIS for effective communication and understanding about the performance of these aspects, and have the knowledge and apptitude to question inputs and decide outputs.
But who is asking for conducting a MRM ... ??? :confused:

In my case as a Quality Manager I chair the MR meeting - and use a Powerpoint presentation displaying both the good and the bad e.g. number of SCARs, customer response times (a complaint response time metric or KPI), examples of continuous improvements etc within the context of the agenda topic list.

For question 1) I think they both. For example, you can compare the data of the previous year with the current one, evidencing eventual improvements in the reduction of the number and grade of the non conformities in the audited QMS processes.
Other suggestion could be the one to highlight an issue in timely closing the non conformities ( of internal and external type ) or major incidence of the non conformities in specific clauses of the reference standards and staff like that.
If you perfom the mgmt review of an integrated system ( QMS, EMS and Safety) you could evidence the benefits of the integration after the analysis of the data of the audit and the room for improvement as well.
For the question 2), the person that should produce data and show to facilitate discussion during Mgmt review should be the process owner of the activity/process of the internal/external audit. It could be the Mgmt representative or his/her delegate , that could be the Quality System mgr.
The presentation should be brief and incisive , coming from a prior precise analisys, so that you can leave room for discussion to mgmt review member and for their recommendation for continuous improvement:bigwave:

If it is about your system, then the answer lies in your procedure for Management Review. Chances are, it would outline what needs to be done to meet all the relevant requirements (5.6) of the standard.

What do you mean with MD?
However ISO 9001 does not forecast anything about this. The meeting is only one of the possible methods to conduct mgmt review.
If you hold meeting, you can set roles and responbilities in a procedure of yours, but ISO 9001 does not ask for it:bigwave:
