Excluding ISO9001 Cl. 8.4 - Supplier Selection and Evaluation

Hi

I consulting the company which use supplier data base from other company(main company of the group who manage that data base). The first one only ordering parts from selected suppliers according to manufacturing plan.

Due to the fact that first company will be certified independently I have plan to exclude 8.4 from QMS .. what do you think about that?

Q. Do you get any services from another entity, if you do - you can not exclude because they are supplying you with a product of service.

Now, if you do not receive any help or services from any entity - then yes exclude.

When you exclude - your making a statement that your company does not use the products or service of anyone - purchasing does not exist, therefore not subject to be audited.
