Pleasure give insights in this issue.
In 6.1.2.1, the standard requires to evaluate effectiveness in risk and opportunities (which are improvements), but in clause 10, doesn't specifically
Ask to evaluate effectiveness of improvement, it mentions to have effectiveness but for all the management.
The issue is, that when I implement opportunities as improvements, I always evaluate effectiveness and wonder if I have to evaluate it in all improvements I implement in my system? See clauses below.
I apply minor improvements by modifying procedures, format s, kpi, etc., however big improvement are managed/controlled in a special format, where is evaluated the effectiveness.

a) actions to address these risks and opportunities;
b) how to:
1) integrate and implement the actions into its quality management system processes (see 4.4);
2) evaluate the effectiveness of these actions.

10 Improvement
10.1 General
The organization shall determine and select opportunities for improvement and implement any
necessary actions to meet customer requirements and enhance customer satisfaction.
These shall include:
a) improving products and services to meet requirements as well as to address future needs and
expectations;
b) correcting, preventing or reducing undesired effects;
c) improving the performance and effectiveness of the quality management system.
