Hello U.S friends.Do you get news GM is move his purchase office to Shanghai,China. Some of you will also transfer to this office ?

If I were, I would expect that a given number of personnel would be asked to transfer to China and teach the workforce there how to do purchasing for GM, as has been done by some companies that move operations to India.
I would also expect a large noise of discontent with this cost saving objective, since GM's problems are not popularly considered purely due to labor costs.
If I were 20 and not 45, and had no family to uproot I would seriosuly consider transferring so as to keep my job and enjoy the unique experience. Until, that is, GM decided I had outlived my high priced usefulness and laid me off in the end. That has also happened many times in India and here, when U.S. workers are being replaced with foreign computer workers.
