Internet Portal for QMS Interface

VIXERG

We have a "global" business with offices in several countries .
We operate a paper QMS but we want to go to a web based portal on the internet where personnel can interface with procedures, forms data etc.

Can any one recommend an "off- the -shelf" packaage we can use ?

Thanks

Another platform is a SharePoint server. I'm not an IT guy but our QMS is set up on a sharepoint server our IT guys built in a couple days. They are designed for document sharing and are ISO compliant in that you can restrict edit privileges so the source documents are protected. Anyone with an internet connection can access it (with a password).

Try a wiki. There are many wiki engines available. I like Projectforum and Confluence.

It depends what you want to do (or what you want your people to be able to do!) - Sharepoint etc will let you manage your documents etc, but if you want to define your processes and make it easy for users to access related documents for an individual task, our own software may be able to help - see
a demo published (html) system. The software is "off the shelf" but you obviously then need to use it to define your processes.

Let me know if you want any more information.

Lotus Notes also works well. I access documents on such a server that services most of our bottling partners in Southern Africa.
