Minitab or Gage R & R Specialist help wanted

Hi, again....a little problem.....

When I perform an analysis on a Gauge R & R, I always try to enter a tolerance (so I see the % of R & R and know wright away if I'm below the magic 25%)
That is easy, when I got a +/- tolerance
Ex: 100 (any units) +/- 10.....So I enter tolerance= 20 (total tolerance)

BUT.....How do I enter the tolerance when I only got a maximum....
Meaning: the tolerance for a given test is MAX 100 (so anything below 100 is acceptable)...

Is there a special way to 'calculate' or explain that type of tolerance in Minitab.....

Thanks for helping.....:thanx:

If 0 is a physical low limit, you can use it for your lower spec (different issue than capability calculations.) Now, if you had a minimum, it gets dicey. But the real % is %TV, not % tolerance, anyway. So it is not mandatory to calculate % tolerance - but you can always calculate %TV.

Thanks Bobdoering,
but you said %TV, I don't see it in Minitab, I 'guess' you mean Study Var (6*SV)....If not, wich number is the TV

Thanks:thanx:
