Expanding a Laboratory Calibration Scope

Hello,

We have a small Calibration Lab that we certify gauges with less than .001" tolerances. Examples are go/nogo plug gauges using a Laser Scan micrometer and width gauges using master Gage Blocks. In an effort to reduce outside lab cost, I want to expand our calibration scope to include ring gauges to cl x and xx tolerances plus other gages. Can someone furnish me with some help or information on what it will take to implement this project? Such as what is needed to control vibration, sound, dust, etc.? We already control temperature and humidity.

Thank you
Kat.K.

Hi Kat.K.,

Have you tried looking through the related threads linked at the bottom of this page? And then, when you open one there are likely to be yet another set of existing threads to look at. In this way I hope you can get some information even sooner than getting a dialog going just now. It's still the weekend in the U.S. and things are a lirttle slow yet.
