You are a fourm user. You may use this board to sell your old camera.
Marc is stating this board may not be used as a free advertising site for commercial endeavors.
Many of you (except maybe the moderators) may be unaware that during the midnight hours - which is also daylight hours over this part of the world, a fair number of people just get themselves registered and start posting advertisements & commercials.
Usually within ten to thirty minutes, these posts will be removed - thanks to the presence of moderators almost round the clock. And Marc is around at almost every other hour - just wonder how many hours of sleep he needs a day!

& you are right harry. And if there are no moderators around on-line, we would request our members to use the "Report Bad or Inappropriate Post" function when you see a suspicious post or spam. This is the little red triangle icon with a line (|)
on the right hand side in the post header. When you click on this icon, an email will be automatically sent to all moderators informing them about the problematic post.No, Marc does not sleep at all !
He has to keep a watch on moderators.

Yes, we make a big deal about taking them (and the posters, N.B.) out asap, because if we don't, they have a nasty tendency to spread lika a plague. It's like graffiti: As soon as someone starts and it is not removed immediately, others will notice and add their own stuff...
Not many, that's for sure. You should see him updating the forum software. He just won't quit until everything is done...
Yes, please do. In fact: Use it even if we are on line. We may not notice such posts at once, but Cove members usually alert us within minutes, and I would like to seize this opportunity to say
for that assistance.

Many thanks to Atul and Claes for your response and advice. I/We certaintly learned something new.
I made this post to share with the majority of posters who are from a diametrically opposite timeline about what is happening to the cove when they went to bed. At the quietest moment, there could be no registered members (usually for a short while only) on line but there will be at least about 60 unregistered users using the cove. And it's true that when Marc does maintenance work, he tried his best to cause minimal disruption to the cove but maximum disruption to his own biological clock.
So the cove is truly 24/7/365. (24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year).
