Do all Controlled Document copies require a Stamp?

Hello, If a controlled copy is photostat and use a copy every day, do we need stamp all the photostat copies?

I moved this to the document control forum because ISO 9001 doesn't say anything about how a document control system is set up. Each company defines how they will control their documents, including which are controlled documents and which are not.

These days "stamps" are not "popular". If you could describe your system a bit, and which documents you are referring to, we can better give our opinions/experiences and comment.
