Interesting document from ILO concerning their involvement in the ISO 45001 standard and other ISO initiatives...
Anyone who read the document can sense that not all is well between ISO and ILO. Friction not only on the ISO 45001 front, but on the ISO 26000 space as well, which was voted down for a revision, in 2017.

ISO's decision (in 2004) to allow corporations to dictate that ISO 26000 would never be a certifiable standard shows how political the standard development process can be.

Sometimes, ISO does not have an easy job juggling stakeholder expectations. This case exemplifies it well.

It will be interesting to see if ILO positions itself publicly towards ISO Standards.
