I do not know where I found this but the following is the VD 6.3 process input requirement:

6.1.1
- A process is defined for transferring responsibility between development/production and is controlled.
- A complete production process/product approval/releases with all the documentation required must take place before the first production shipment.
- The PPAP is the final verification of the product, production and transport planning process and a positive result lead to approval/release for serial production.
- Conditions for serial production release are agreed with the customer.
- Reference parts from sample submissions must be retained in accordance with the customer's instructions.
- The process for securing the launch of production is described/installed in order to shorten the run-up phase & ensure a robust production process.
- A process to secure the launch must be carried out for all new parts/modified products requiring initial sample submission approval.
- A production test has been carried out to the customer's requirements & assessed positively. Actions arising from the production test have been completed on time. Production facilities/new parts have been sampled with positive results.
- A process for the further development of the product and process FMEAs is defined and controlled.
- Evidence of feasibility investigations have been provided for all special characteristics.
- Tools, test, inspection and measurement facilities are available in sufficient quantities.
- Responsibility for serial production has been transferred from the project team to the production plant.

Hope this helps a bit.

Those who seek out the Audit check list for VDA 6.3 process auditing don’t have to go far. The Red Book or the standard itself is a basic check list. However, all VDA 6.3 process auditors are required to plot a turtle diagram of the actual process which they are going to audit; the specific risks are required to be identified; auditor is required to devise ‘Open Ended’ audit questions for verifying the existence or non-existence of these risks; ask these questions; find the truth and then return back to his desks only to convert the data gathered into answers to ‘Closed ended’ question and then fill up the AUDIT ANALYSIS TOOL to arrive at the ratings. This auditing un-earths the true status as well as all risks of processes being audited.

Can someone send me a copy of the written questionare to pass the VDA 6.3? I did not make 70% and I will retake this test in 2 months. Thank you.I passed the oral exam.

Reading the one-liner question, I presume, you are talking about passing the written exam on day 5 of the qualifier training. This exam consists of 40 questions with multiple choices. Most options appear to be confusingly right. The participant is needed to choose the most correct option. The minimum passing percentage is 70% and the exam is a closed-book one. The written questionnaire will not be available anywhere as it is an ‘Intellectual Property’ of VDA. What’s more; if the questions were to be available, then this examination would loose any meaning or importance.
The only option available to anyone is to go through the Red Book with a fine tooth comb and to generate as many statements as possible which are similar to those given to you during the exam. Maturity of your own experience and generating a firm grip on the requirements of the standard are the only ways to crack this examination. Please make full use of the two months period available to you. Good luck to you.

Dear All,
Is the written exam timed? What can I expect for the oral exam (e.g. are you presented scenarios that you have to address, asked questions that you have to present the best answer, etc.)? Thank you in advance.
